Moment of Zen

Greetings All!

Here's a new render I call "Moment of Zen." Created with Daz Studio and Photoshop. Rendered in Iray.

Grey Man Invasion

Greetings all!
Here is my new attempt at working with gifs and video. This is what I found out after two days of working on this: Making gifs are easier than posting them. Boy, is this annoying. Instagram doesn't support gifs but they do support videos but you can't post them from your desktop. Facebook doesn't support the playing of raw gifs from your pc but you need to use a third party such as Giphy. Then when you do share them it comes up as a still link to their site. This goes on and on.Although I have a feeling that there is an easy way, I haven't found it yet but I will keep you posted as to my progress. Meanwhile, this is what I have to offer. Enjoy - Tim

Study in Red

Hi all! Just working on my lighting and trying to get more of a painterly look to my work. Hope you enjoy! #Daz3d

Depth of Field Study

Greetings All! This was a quick study on depth of field. Quite happy with it. -Tim

A Senior Moment

Greetings All!

The other day my wife surprised me with a brand new AARP card, as we have both turned 50 this year. A little part of me died. So, I decided to work on an image that addresses seniors in the work force. Here we have a gate keeper who maybe when younger enjoyed the thrill of the job but now we see him in quiet contemplation as he wonders if it's time to retire before someone, or something, makes the decision for him. I hope you enjoy. -Tim

Creech on the Beach

Greetings All!

Sometimes, a few words will connect in my head when I'm working on something. That's how this image came into the world. The main character's product name is "Creech" and I thought hhm, "Creech on the Beach". I hoped to create an image of what monsters might do on their day off.

Thanks! -Tim

Ivan the Celt

Greetings All!
So, I've been working with combining Daz3D models with Photoshop to create an efficient workflow. I really like combining Ps actions to finished renders as I believe that it increases the depth of interest. What do you think? Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

Thanks! -Tim

The Impatient Goblin

Greetings all!

I have always been fascinated by the works of photographer Diane Arbus. In particular, her photo entitled, "Child with a toy hand grenade in Central Park, N.Y.C." I tried to capture the same look of impatience that the young boy displays.

The work was done in Daz3d and rendered in Iray. Minor post work in Photoshop. Creative criticism is welcomed. Thanks - Tim
